Author Bio

TR Cliborne

From a young age TR Cliborne was an avid reader, devouring as many books as possible. She loved the feel of the pages in between her fingers and the way her mind transformed her surroundings into castles, battlegrounds, dungeons, or schoolyards. With a book in hand, she could go anywhere her imagination could take her.

When Cliborne was in high school, she was drawn to writing, creating her own heroes and villains, towns and cities, weaving together plots and storylines. She tried her hand at poetry and even song writing, but found fiction was her forte.

TR Cliborne strayed from her love of writing to explore a calling to serve. She joined the US Army Reserves, serving for six years. She met her husband while serving in the military, marrying three years later. While serving in the reserves, Cliborne sought out a career in serving her community as a law enforcement officer.

During her career in law enforcement, she worked in patrol, as a Field Training Officer, and a Detective in different areas. One of these assignments was with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force. Cliborne felt this was her calling and worked cases involving crimes against children for several years.

While cross training with the Mounted Patrol Unit, she suffered a catastrophic injury, hospitalizing her for several months. After months in and out of the hospital, in patient and outpatient therapies, and multiply surgeries, she was unable to return to work and medically retired.

Retirement from the career she loved sent her looking for fulfillment. Cliborne found that again in writing. She uses her knowledge and experience to develop compelling crime thrillers with relatable characters and a unique perspective into the investigative world. She is the author of the Crane & Harris series, a breakout debut crime thriller.

Cliborne holds a BA in Criminal Justice Administration and Management with a minor in Psychology. She holds certificates in Criminal Profiling, Physical Security and Sex Offender Behavior.

TR Cliborne resides on the East coast with her husband who still works in law enforcement, her daughter, three dogs and smug cat who gives her much inspiration for her villainous characters.
